Our Story

Union Overland is a one-man operation — and proud of it. My name is Marc, and I built this business from the ground up, driven by a genuine passion for overlanding, the outdoors, and the gear that makes it all possible.

I started Union Overland from nothing. No warehouse team, no corporate backing — just a deep love for the overlanding lifestyle and a commitment to building something real. Every day I'm working tirelessly to grow Union Overland into a reputable, one-stop shop for overlanding and camping gear in Canada. And the goal doesn't stop there — I'm working toward opening a physical retail store right here in Ontario, so you can see, touch, and talk through the gear in person.

Gear That's Been Used, Not Just Sold

What sets Union Overland apart is simple: I don't sell gear I haven't vetted. Every product in this store has been researched extensively. When you have a question about a rooftop tent, a recovery kit, or a lighting setup, you're getting an answer from someone who has actually been out there — not a script.

I believe you deserve to know the story behind what you're buying, especially when you're investing in equipment that needs to perform when it counts. That's the standard I hold every product to before it earns a place in this store.

Proudly Canadian. Proudly Small.

Union Overland is a small Canadian business, and that shapes every decision I make. Wherever possible, I source from and partner with Canadian suppliers and businesses. Keeping dollars in Canada, supporting local industry, and building relationships with other Canadian entrepreneurs matters to me — not as a marketing line, but as a genuine operating principle.

When you shop with Union Overland, you're not feeding a faceless corporation. You're directly supporting one person who is pouring everything into building something they believe in.

Built for Canadian Conditions

Canada is not a forgiving place to test gear — and that's exactly why I'm here. From shoulder-season mud to deep winter cold, the overlanding and camping conditions we face in this country demand equipment that's genuinely built to perform. Every product I carry is selected with Canadian terrain, weather in mind.

What's Coming

The vision for Union Overland is growing. A physical retail location in Ontario is on the horizon — a place where the overlanding community can come together, get hands-on with gear, and connect with others who share the same passion for the trail.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Whether you're a seasoned overlander or just getting started, I'm here to help you find the right gear and get out there with confidence.
