The Simple Kit is a compact, removable bed platform for minivans, flat-floor vehicles, cargo vans and the VW ID. Buzz. It needs no drilling into your vehicle and no permanent changes. Set it up for a trip, then take it out to get your everyday vehicle back.

Why you'll like it

• Quick to use. Once it's built, it installs or comes out in about five minutes.
• Sleeps flat. It opens to a 72 in (6 ft) bed. In most minivans it still leaves room for up to five passenger seats.
• Sleeps one or two. Choose a single platform, or order two for a double bed.
• Built to last. 5/8 in UV-varnished Baltic birch plywood, with adjustable legs that level the bed on uneven floors.
• Add a drawer for camp life. It gives you 40 in of storage, a work surface, a folding sink and a divider. The slides are rated for up to 265 lb.
• Add a mattress. An optional 4 in mattress is available.
• Easy to store. Folded, it takes up about a 2 × 4 ft footprint.
• Flat pack. It ships as a kit to assemble yourself, which takes about an hour.

It fits most minivans, flat-floor vehicles, cargo vans and the VW ID. Buzz. Measure your cargo area before ordering. The platform is 23.75 in wide × 74.5 in long × 13 in high, or 47.5 in wide for the double. Small floor differences can be handled with the included leveling shims or a minor adjustment while you assemble it.
